A Caring, Dedicated Leader
The question is who is Jeff and why should
you vote for him?
And, how to explain all this in just a few words.
Basically in a nutshell, Jeff is a caring leader who spends hours of his
time dedicated to serving his community. Below, you will see just
a few of the many local positions in which Jeff serves. Since Jeff
is a community leader, he is not a politician
nor does he want to be.
Jeff was encouraged to run because he is willing to stand up and we need
a leader who can be a part of the solution to our
communities problems.
What would Jeff do if you elected him as
your State Senator?
Imagine if you actually elected a caring, dedicated
leader that could use the office of the State Senate to fight for issues
related to San Diego. In fact, most elected officials once in
office are rarely seen in their communities and go up to Sacramento and
just "play government." Imagine, on the other hand, a State
Senator who would return home every
weekend from Sacramento and work hand-in-hand with local community
leaders to fight to solve San Diego's problems. What are some of
these issues: poverty, failure in schools, gang violence, crime,
etc...
Everyday people wish Jeff good luck, but in reality it's up to you the
voters as to what type of leader you want to represent you. If
Jeff is elected to the State Senate, he promises to work untiringly to
fight for your issues, your children, and our communities.
Please give San Diego what it needs - a caring, dedicated leader.

Biography Jeff grew up in
southern California and after graduating college with an Electrical
Engineering degree served as Vice-President
of a consulting company doing business with the US Navy. Jeff was
transferred to San Diego 12 years ago to open an office located in Coronado serving North Island.
Jeff eventually moved to downtown and finally ended up in Linda
Vista. In 2000, Jeff served three years as the Director
for the San Diego International Students Association
working with 50+ language schools, colleges, and universities helping
40,000+ international students, workers, and tourists visiting San
Diego.
After moving to Linda Vista,
Jeff decided to get more involved in his local community. Starting
as an election Precinct Representative, Jeff quickly moved up to
Community Leader, Chairman of Recruiting and Training, Vice-Chairman of
the County Voter Registration Taskforce, and finally leader of the 76th
Assembly District.
In 2006, as leader of the Assembly District, Jeff
was asked to run for the 76th California State Assembly which he greatly enjoyed.
After the election, Jeff returned to Linda Vista where he was elected to
the board of the Town Council and then later elected as Vice-President.
Shortly after, Jeff was
elected as Vice-President Community Relations of the Linda Vista
Community Development Corp and as a board member of the Linda Vista
Community Planning Group. Jeff is also currently serving on the
Linda Vista Recreation Council and the Linda Vista Multicultural Fair
Steering Committee.
However, Jeff has found a true passion working as
a board member of the Kearny Mesa Kiwanis Club and member of the Linda
Vista and Presidential Lyons Clubs helping
children in the San Diego area. These clubs help raise money for
Children's Hospital and work with many other great organizations such
as the Girls and Boys Clubs, Community Centers, and
Children's Centers.
Recently, Jeff
was promoted to Chairman of Community and Precinct Operations for the
County of San Diego, this was a great honor to him. But the
greatest honor Jeff received was in March 2008 when he was asked to run for the
California State Senate.
Jeff looks forward to
continuing his public service, by serving the good citizens of San
Diego as their State Senator. |
